My first few weeks of library science have been fun and interesting! I didn’t think being a librarian would be this hard. I have learned how to shelf books properly, how to sign books out to other students. Signing books out to other students is my favourite; I love scanning the books and then stamping them with the due date! What I find difficult is the blog; I have never made a blog before. The first few blogs were quit difficult but after a few more I got to know how to use it more. I would like to learn about how you become a librarian, what do you have to do for education to become one. So far I have enjoyed my days in the library and can’t wait to learn more stuff in library science!!
One of your assignments in your library science workbook is to investigate library careers. There are lots of different things that you can do in the library field, not all of them holding the title of librarian. I have a degree in Geography and History, my teaching degree and a Masters Degree in Library and Information Studies.
